# Business Hours & Booking Rules

> The hours and capacity rules your AI agent follows — editable anytime after onboarding.

## Business hours

* Two modes: same hours for all days, or day-by-day customization.
* Mark any day fully closed.
* Add **special dates** (holidays, events) that override your regular hours — special dates always take precedence.
* Hours are interpreted using your outlet's configured timezone.

## Booking rules

| Setting                      | Options                                          |
| ---------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Max reservations per day     | 1–1000. Default: 50                              |
| Party size (min–max)         | Default 1–12                                     |
| Default reservation duration | 30 / 45 / 60 / 90 (default) / 120 min, or Custom |
| Buffer between bookings      | None / 60 min (default) / 90 min / 120 min       |
| Advance booking window       | Today only / 14 / 30 (default) / 60 / 90 days    |
| Minimum notice               | How much lead time is required before a booking  |

  If opening time is set later than closing time, or a special date overlaps one that already exists, you'll see a validation error before you can save.
